In 2019, The Savannah Economic Development Authority, World Trade Center Savannah, and Savannah Regional Film Commission announced that their new home was moving to Historic Downtown Savannah. The Drayton Street, 11,522 SF building was constructed in 1959 and is the former home of the American Red Cross and sits directly across from the idyllic Forsyth Park. The renovation breathed new life into a mid-century-style building that had gone unused and underserved for many years. The renovation for the new offices included exterior rehabilitation, addition of an elevator, two new stairwells, a new terrace, addition of an awning, and a new drop-off covered entrance.
