Located on 23 East Charlton Street, Haymans Hall lies in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District. Built in 1926, the three-story building of masonry construction is located near Madison Square and adjacent to SCAD’s Poetter Hall. This historic restoration provided SCAD’s new program with illustration studios, printmaking facilities, an additional stairwell, updated MEP and fire systems, and an interior ADA ramp. The extensive renovations to the interior and exterior of the building supplied SCAD with a state-of-the-art educational facility, while maintaining the historic visage.
